This property is located in an area of wild fauna and flora. It has vegetation with a natural degree of conservation and a very well structured riverside area. The rich biodiversity and the pure and crystalline waters make Bestança one of the cleanest and richest rivers in Europe.

The Bestança river basin is densely forested with native species in a state of complete preservation, which complete a mixed forest of oaks, chestnuts, laurels, willows, alders and some fruit trees such as walnuts and holly.
In the fauna diversity, there are several species such as the Otter, the Lusitanian Salamander and the Trout, which depend on the constant and naturally ecological balance of the river course and on the maintenance of the riverside habitats. The area surrounding the river course is also home to other bird species of which the golden eagle stands out.
